Welcome to the new Plumbers Union website. The purpose of this site is to provide a real time environment for dialogue between the Union and its members. Communication is a two way street - we can not only provide you with up-to-date, as it happens information relevant to the industry via our news section but we can also provide you with the means to talk directly to us.
I encourage you to get involved, whether it be a suggestion as how we can do things better or perhaps you would like to share a news story that would benefit us all. The Union can only respond to your needs if we know what they are, so stand up and have your say!

Sprinkler fitters working for Chubb were on strike for one day and then locked out for two weeks. The current dispute probably began in 2005 when the union approached Chubb to sign the 2005 – 2008 industry agreement. Read More
